When Things Fall Apart, Create Something New
When things fall apart, they do so to clear space so that something else can be created. What is done with that space is up to the artist.
If you’re seeking support in nourishing your inner emo kid, might I suggest signing up for an intuitive reading or The Session? If you find my work impactful, I’d be honored if you would share it with others, upgrade to a paid subscription, or leave a tip, if you feel so inclined. As always, thank you for being here with me!
When things fall apart, they do so to clear space so that something else can be created. What is done with that space is up to the artist. You can recreate something that once stood there, or you can look at the openness with your minds eye. Envision how things were. Envision how they felt. Envision how your body responded to how they were and how they felt. Listen to the thoughts that dance with one another, complementary and contradictory all at once.
You allow emptiness to fill your head and then ask the question:
How can I create something better?
You pick up your brush, your pen, your hammer, and you start to let your imagination move through you to show you what it is you are truly craving.
What the collective is longing for, but can’t put its collective finger on.
You weave from the whisperings of your spirit and see pure love reflecting back in front of you.
Before you fight, grieve.
Feel your emotions and let them spill from your body.
Salty tears, bone-rattling snot cries.
Scream into your pillow, into the night.
Safely clear yourself out.
Create emptiness to create a clear, aligned vision.
Then make your declaration.
Raise your voice, allow yourself to be heard.
Allow the frequency to continue to shake loose, demolish, and strip to the studs the current structures that have held us up, held us back for far too long.
Let go of divisiveness. Let go of sides. Let go of the idea that we aren’t all connected.
Hold space for all of the fears. All of the possibilities.
See that the common thread is that we are all fighting for our lives.
Seek to find the common ground upon which we can all stand.
So that when you stand up to fight, you fight with clear eyes.
You fight for the true majority.
Not just what you see as being right through your specific lens.
There is always more to see and understand, and it is in seeing and listening that you will find a truth that works for most.
When you meet an extreme with an extreme, you will find more extremes.
Where is the common thread to help us come together in the face of the common threat?
This is how you rally to create lasting change.
